
Have you ever participated in a “sit-in”? How’d it work out?
I remember “sit-ins” from my youth; and this story reminded me of them. Have you ever participated in a “sit-in”; any stories about “sit-ins”?
“Republic Windows & Doors, union leaders and Bank of America reached the deal Wednesday evening. Each former Republic employee will get eight weeks’ salary, all accrued vacation pay and two months’ paid health care”

I participated in protest marches during the Vietnam War and a sit in in college against policies enacted by our college president. The protest marches took a while to have an impact. The sit in worked for the most part. In the case of our sit in the power was in the media we invited.
