Yes, just like all of his other Socialist policies, because right now he has a free pass as long as there is not enough Conservatives to vote down any of his proposals. Many Americans did not acknowledge his Socialistic ways before or during the last election in November, why because they heard “free check” in the mail, I am certain, but when the check is spent, the money gone from Obama’s wasteful spending, and raised taxes, guns under control of government, and Americans come to realize they are unhappy with the “changes” from a free society to a controlled people, they will vote in Conservatives to retract the damage Obama and the Libs have forced upon us. No UHC (which is Socialism, and the death of choice, and good health-care) would have been considered by a Conservative.
Rushing this policy through makes the plan implemented, on it’s way to the development board before Americans as a whole will see the future damage it will cause, and the UNretractable status it will have.

I know what it does, as do my English friends, and their DEAD 11 year old son, who should still be alive, and the hole in his heart sewed up years ago at the age of 3!!!!! As to the promised check by Obama, the $250, it’s gone already, isn’t it, Americans? And you were cut on your Social Security/disability, how much? Do you feel stimulated now? Disabled and blind children (and adults) were cut $57 a month on SSI (and SSP) in CA, and that $250 is nothing compared to $57 per month for 12 months, is it? You didn’t get $250, really did you? You were cut actually. Let’s see, by $434, weren’t you????????
$57 x’s 12 = $684 – $250 makes a $434 loss….NO ONE got a stimulous payment in CA, they got ROBBED, but CA governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar, and the Congress voted for raises for themselves, which they got, all the while cutting blind and disabled adults and children from their SSI, and SSP. Socialism sucks, don’t it?

As of 5/1/2009 the state budget cuts will drastically affect the SSI/SSP rates. The SSI/SSP reduction is in an amount equal to the Federal SSI Cost of Living Increase (COLA), which was $37 for an individual and $55 for an eligible couple. Thus the SSI/SSP payment rate for an individual will go down to $870 (from $907) and the rate for an eligible couple will go down to $1524 (from $1579). For blind recipients the SSI/SSP payment rate will go down to $935 (from $972) for an individual and $1,751 (from $1,806) for a blind couple.
Residential Care Facility for Elderly (RCFE) rates will not be cut – the rate will remain at $1,086.
