Was Obama lying or just kidding when he said he would not tax people who made under 250k a year?
Under the new healthcare bill if I make under 250k, but not enough to qualify for free healthcare then I would be forced to pay for health insurance whether I want it or not.

Obama’s Promise:
“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”

SERENAZ, you are right. If I am paying $X in tax now and then have to pay for $Y tax that is not an increase in my total taxes because X did not increase. LOL
