health information management degree australia

health information management degree australia
What is cost of living in Australia?

What is the best place to live in Australia? I’m looking for nice weather and affordable living. Currently I live in USA and studying Health Information Management would I be able to find a job with this degree? How affordable are apartments/condos/houses? What is the difference in salary? What is considered good pay? Would 45000 a year be good or low? Thanks any advice/information welcomed!

You would be better off in the city (more jobs and more to do). Either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne would be best (east coast). The bigger the city the more opportunities there would be to work. Melbourne can get quite cold and Brisbane is quite small so I think Sydney would be best or Brisbane if you can find a jod there. People say it is expensive but I dont find it to be. Im studing full time, working and paying of a mortgage and still doing fine.

I would look to buy (houses/units/apartments are quite cheap at the moment). If the $45000 is in Australian Dollars then I think that is quite a good salary, I am on less!! You can buy an apartment on that or definently rent a pretty nice place. Australia is a great way of life, great people too. Not sure what your degree is but if you call a university they could tell you what degree is like it here. You could probably do a conversion course or you may already be qualified. There are plenty of jobs in healthcare around.

Here is the International number for University of Wollongong, they may be able to help you: +61 2 4221 3218
