I know I’ll get a barrage of how horrible the health care bill is, how disgusting Obama is, all the usual blather of hatred. But Obama did not cause the global economic meltdown, he is trying against unbelievable odds (insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies) to give the American people something that other civilized countries have had for years. He is trying not to turn this country into a place where 2% of the population had 99% of the money. That was the Bush administration. It really doesn’t matter anymore. If people want to return to that (as they seem to want to), fine. We’re out of here.
It is a little sad that even though you did not see your ambitions realized, that you can’t find pride in the fact that YOUR fellow citizens exercised complete freedom of choice and voted the way the country feels NOW.
For my part, I extend a hearty “Job well done residents of Massachusetts…….” Thank you for being the FIRST to show our anger and rejection of Washington’s indifference to us.
