Should I major in Business Administration or Kinesiology?
I want to someday open my own gym and also coach wrestling. I’m not sure if it would be smarter to major in Exercise Science through the Kinesiology Dept. or to major in Business Administration so I learn how to run a business. I think with the Exercise Science degree I could become a certified personal trainer and also train people at the gym I open and know health info for wrestling stuff. But idk if I should just do business because maybe its too complicated to open a business without prior knowledge? help!
I would major in Business Administration with a minor in Kinesiology. The business administration major gives you more options on what to do after college, and if opening your own gym doesn’t work out, you have more to fall back on. If you major in Kinesiology and you get injered to and can no longer work out, your Kinesiology degree becomes worthless. I would go for a Business major, with a Kinesiology major to help you with your gym.
