Teaching Hatha Yoga: Designing a lesson plan – Part 1

Which are the asanas, or postures of yoga, should you choose? How long should you hold each Yoga posture? What is the advantage of holding a yoga posture for minutes at a time?

Should you start or finish of a yoga and meditation? How do you include in your class Pranayama Yoga? These are some of the many questions that Yoga teachers must address and find solutions.

Which are the asanas or yoga postures should you choose? Some sequencing yoga posture is considered so important that some teachers of Yoga and Yoga Masters went through the trouble of patenting and copywriting them.

This is still a hot topic in certain circles, yoga, but the sequencing should ideally contain a mixture of standing, sitting, table, kneeling, balancing, lying, lying on his back and yoga postures.
