Currently I am unemployed and would like to take career change courses.Does the gov. offers any for free?

I heard that some states are offering free courses and I would like to know if there is such a thing in NYC. I would appreciate any help!
- medical assistant, dental assistant, health management and etc.

Most courses that are free are your basic courses English, Maths and IT. You might be able to ask along the lines of jobcentre DWP in your area to see if they will contribute to costs of courses or something like that.
