What do I need to do to become a Pediatrician?
I am currently in Grade 11. I have all my science courses (physics, chem, and bio). I have my Math courses covered as well (functions, advanced functions, and next year i will be taking calculus and vectors). I think i have my prerequisites covered.
I am thinking about becoming a pediatrician, as i love kids, and wouldn’t mind working with them. But i don’t know exactly how to go about becoming one.
Are my courses for now good? What program should i go for as my undergraduate (health sciences, life sciences, humanities, nursery??…i don’t know which one would be best)
Also, i live in Ontario, Canada. Which university would be best? I kind of want to go to McMaster…but what other universities are options?
Also, i have not taken any psychology courses, like anthropology or anything of that sort.
Just the sciences, math, french (all through high school), English.
Please help!!
Thank you in advance!!!
