Health issue, i need help.?

First of all am i overweight?
I’m 15, 135 lbs and 5’3″.

How can i lose fat and get toned at home? Because it’s winter, it’s often too cold or raining outside for me to go running.
Also, what are recipes i can make for breakfast lunch and dinner that are low in calories and easy to make?
I want to lose 10-15 pounds by the year 2009. I have a dance to attend and want to look my best. :)
Note: i am very very dedicated to losing weight. I have lost about 8-10 lbs since the Summer. But i often get cravings at night and i don’t get much sleep. How can i stop my cravings and sleep earlier? I have insomnia.
Please, i really need help i have a really low self esteem and i want to boost it. There were times where i just wanted to give up.

FIrst, you’re not overweight. You’re in the normal range.
Yoga and pilates are good indoor exercises that stretch muscles and the twists in yoga really ring out the digestive system, which speeds up metabolism. For cardio, I suggest jumping jacks, jump rope, running in place… Simple things from PE class that breaks the sweat.
As for food-
Lots of vegetables, especially squash and pumpkin.
Grapefruits are at their sweetest during winter, as are most citrus fruits.
Lots of water.
Of course, you need protein, and soymilk is a good source.
Before bed, try drinking some non-caffeinated tea or something warm or taking a warm shower, writing down everything you need to do the next day, etc. It’ll calm your mind and help you rest easier.

P.S. 15 pounds by 2009 isn’t very healthy, remember to keep your health in check or you might not make it to 2010. :-) And I’m sure you want to eventually graduate to leave jr. high/ high school…. High school is bad for self esteem, just be you and don’t worry about those people. It’ll probably help you sleep better than any medicine or home remedy if you just don’t worry about what they think. I promise.
