How does a bill in Congress get passed?
I’m confused on this Health Care Reform bill. The house writes their own version, as well as the Senate? That is how the media is portraying it. Then what? How does an overall plan get passed? Seems like they waste a lot of time writing their own plans. Why not write one and vote on it?
Don’t forget the house started out with three bills,and made the one, the senate had two bills and made one bill witch they are debating now. if that passes they will put the house bill and the senate bill together and try to come up with one bill, than that bill will have to go through debates in the House and Senate, then voted on again in on both house and senate,the if it passes both, it go’s to Obama.*
