Building positive relationships?
I have a school project in my Family Violence class in which we have to think of a preventative program. My group and I have decided to look at an earlier method in which we can incorporate positive relationships among children K-12.
In most schools the education they receive in health class is only about STD’s and sex. We would like to start at an early age showing children the proper way to treat another individual. We have learned that most children who are confused about proper ways to treat another child is because their home life consists of abuse or other incorrect ways that individuals should interact together.
What I was wondering was if anyone had any ideas for crafts or worksheets that a young child (elementary school age) could do in order to build these positive relationships?

i say you do a “play” with the children have them play out good ways to treat the others and have older children that do know how to treat others play out bad situations and show the positive and negative consequences in each. that would be fun for the children and they would learn at the same time
