Is it true that if you have certain diseases, you can’t get healthcare -at all- in the US?
In the documentary Sicko, it is mentioned that if you have certain diseases/conditions/whatever, companies can just simply reject your application for health insurance, and it also gave a list of stuff that will screw up your chances of ever getting US health insurance if you have it, even including Asperger’s Syndrome (of which I can’t see simply how in the world that would affect health in any way). Does anybody have a reliable source confirming this, preferably with the list of diseases that make you unable to get health care in the US?
