Please help me decide! I am very torn!?
I have been employed with a national supermarket chain in NH as a investigator (loss prevention)for the past 2.5 years. My current rate of pay is 13.35 an hour and I have 2 in a half weeks vacation. I also get a weekly check for mileage for about 50 dollars on average for driving to the various stores in NH 20-30 miles one way (I live over the state line in MA.)I received a offer of employment in Boston, MA (25 miles away)as a investigator for Neiman Marcus with a starting rate of pay at 15.00/hr 2 weeks vacation after six months and same health benefits. It is located in the heart of the city and I would use public transit to get there. I want honest opinions which job sounds better to you! Also which one sounds more prestigious! and prosperous Thanks for all the help!
Honestly, I would stay put if your current job does offer health benefits. The extra pay doesn’t seem to justify the move, in my opinion. The additional commute will also cost you in money and time. Both of these jobs sounds about the same in terms of prestige. Good Luck.
